Awards and Accolades
The students of School of Planning and Architecture have won many awards and accolades in the field of architecture and architectural education. Some of them are stated below:

• 2012 Award for Excellence in Architectural Thesis

The following students were shortlisted for presentation in Zone 5 Jury held during September 2012 at The School of Planning and Architecture, Mysore.

NASA ( National Association of Students of Architecture)/ ZONASA:

Various prizes were won by the students at Zonal and National level. Competitions comprising of cultural and design topics.

• Shortlisted for G-Sen Trophy which focuses on documentation analysis and redesign with an integrated approach to the design process.
• Special mention for Louis I Khan Trophy which is fostered to improve the quality of Architectural education in the context of the historic environment and the legacy of knowledge skills and training required to better protect and conserve the heritage
